Dreams from My Father tells the story of Obama's struggle to understand the forces that shape him as the son of a black African father and white American mother of a struggle that took him from the heart of America to the ancestral home of great-aunt in the tiny African village of Alego.
Obama began his story in New York, where he heard that his father-a figure he knows more as a myth than as a man has died in a car accident. The news triggered chain of memories as Barack retraces his family history of the ordinary: the migration of his mother's family from small town Kansas to the islands of Hawaii, the love that develops between his mother and a promising young Kenyan student, young love is fostered by the spirit of innocence and the integration of early years and six tens; diHawaii father died when Barack was two years old, Barack Obama raised himself to the fears and doubts that exist not only between black and white world of the greater, but in its own right. then Barack moved to Chicago to work as community organizers. There, against a background of chaotic political and racial conflict, he worked to re-center mounting despair.

HARRY POTTER AND THE STONE'S PHILOSPHER

Everything that made Harry Potter so successful is all first shown, though not yet fully explained, in this book, HARRY POTTER AND THE STONE'S PHILOSPHER. This novel story begins with Harry living under the cupboard with the rough aunt and uncle. He has had a life, then depression, and even a child who is active and smart, the sheer amount of trauma he must bear the scar any child would. But the door opened out of this lifestyle. I once read an interesting theory (obviously not true), that a writer who is much different from Rowling will end Book 7 with Harry having imagined all this fantasy world, where he was so prominent and famous, to help escape neglect and abuse of family Dursley. Harry gets a letter (actually, hundreds) saying he is actually a witch. So he enrolled at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Magic. He, along with his new friend the giant Hagrid, go to Diagon Alley, a magical market, and thus he is thrust into the magical universe so that the imagination of millions. Harry is world famous among wizards for conquering evil Wizard named Vo - um - He Who Must Not Be Called. Along the way, we learn that Voldemort after artifiact magical called the Sorcerer's Stone (which, unfortunately, changed from the original British title of "Sorcerer's Stone" in all other areas).
So many novels driven by three main characters defending this stone from Voldemort. harry should be able to deal with it. an interesting one, and indeed about the whole series, is how Rowling plants details which, when read, you may not always catch, but later rather important in later volumes. Who would think Griphook and Hagrid's advice no one breaks into Gringotts would stand out like in Book 7? Or the importance of Harry could speak with boa constrictor, something which is not referenced again until Book 2 and then not fully explained until Book 7? Or the Invisibility Cloak, the device was first introduced in this novel, but you do not know the importance, or even have a real significane, until Book 7. Rowling was the writer who has a creative high. This story also has a dynamic relationship that will continue throughout the entire series, from the interaction between the three main kids (Harry, Ron, and Hermione), to the ambiguous Severus Snape, the wise mentor figure of Albus Dumbledore, bumbling Hagrid with his love evil beings, polite and reserved Professor McGonagall, evil incarnate Voldemort, Draco Malfoy, etc. conclusion there are many memorable scenes in this novel. As the novel develops, the children's age and the target audience would have aged well. In this novel, they are still very young and immature, but already at the earliest point in their careers, there are seeds of greatness for Harry, Ron, and Hermione. so, if you want to get this book click here

the best book of the month

It is difficult to read the opening pages of Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs without feeling melancholic. Jobs retired at the end of August and died about six weeks later. Now, just weeks after his death, you can open the book that bears his name and read about his youth, his promise, and his relentless press to succeed.
But the initial sadness in starting the book is soon replaced by something else, which is the intensity of the read--mirroring the intensity of Jobs’s focus and vision for his products. Few in history have transformed their time like Steve Jobs, and one could argue that he stands with the Fords, Edisons, and Gutenbergs of the world. This is a timely and complete portrait that pulls no punches and gives insight into a man whose contradictions were in many ways his greatest strength. if u want to get this book click here
